Introduction

The Producer Panel series is a modular control surface, this means you can add expansion units to increase the number of keys or touch screens you have.

For example, you my wish to have 2 TouchControl’s, side-by-side, with Producer Panel’s either side and a regular (and programmable) keyboard at the front (this particular set-up is show below):

The above set-up is particularly useful if you work in multiple production environments.  For example, you may use one TouchControl to display and control Final Cut while the other one is used for Pro Tools.

Alternatively, you could be using a pro-audio package and work with the Arrange page on one TouchControl and the Mixer on the other.

You may just want more than 128 keys, which is the biggest Producer Panel available.  For this, you would connect additional Producer Panel EXP’s to your original one.

Note: The TouchControl requires a dedicated video output (DVI/VGA), so if you want to use more than one TouchControl or use it with a regular computer monitor, you’ll need a video card with multiple outputs.  You can get either a dual or triple output video card by doing a search on eBay, Froogle, or your preferred IT supplier.
